The Architect

I Ketut Siandana is a highly respected Balinese Architect as well as a director of one of Bali’s highly successful and original chains of Eco Resorts known for their sensitivity and awareness of the environment. He is a visionary, the new generation Balinese working to help Bali retain its special magic, a traditionalist whose passion and vision is to express the present day Bali experience in a unique way.

Ketut has taken inspiration from the soft lines and curves of a surfboard for the design of the heart of Balangan Wave, The Surf Club, and the profile of the One and Two bedroom villas making it one of Bali’s most unique boutique resorts.

The Landscape Designer

John Pettigrew DIP (hort) is one of Bali’s most acclaimed landscape designers. Along with his beautiful landscape designs and water features in Bali his work is appreciated in India, China, Singapore, Maldives, Australia, Ireland and the USA.

He is respected worldwide for his eye to detail, hands on style, high energy levels and the passion for his art. His clients have included Ubud Hanging, Begawan Gardens, Four Season Resorts (Bali, Maldives, Singapore, Jakarta), The Oberoi Resorts, Bali and Bulgari Resorts, Bali.

Balangan Wave will be one of John’s most passionate projects to date.
