Balangan is one of Bali’s lesser known beaches, and therefore one of the least crowded. It is a ‘Goofy Footer’s Paradise’ with perfect lefts that seem to go on forever. It can hold a large swell with perfect tubes. The limestone of the Bukit has helped create some of Bali’s most spectacular coastline with pristine beaches and Bali’s best surf breaks. Literally next door are the other famous Balinese surf breaks, such as Dreamland, Impossibles, Bingin, Padang Padang and Uluwatu, which act like irresistible magnets to surfers from all over the globe and are often the venue for International surf contests. And for the golfers, a 18 hole course is just at your back door which is home to The Indonesian Open.
